Yesterday, after his first football game as a Ventura Buccaneer, my son told us that he is going to play football for the rest of his life. He said that he will not retire from football until his is ‘old, like Brett Favre.’ This is such a joy to hear from our son. This is particularly precious when we remember that just three months ago, he told us that he had changed his mind, and that it had been a mistake to choose football as his favorite sport.
